Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Wild Oak LLC, doing business as The Noble Foundry (“The Noble Foundry,” “we,” “us”). They cover our website, thenoblefoundry.com, and, for authorized users only, our private internal business tools. By using either, you agree to these terms.
Our website
Our website describes our services and lets you contact us or book a call. Its content belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and share it for your own information, but please don’t copy it for commercial use, interfere with the site’s operation, or try to access parts of it that aren’t public.
Internal business tools (end-user license)
We operate private software tools that let an AI assistant read and update records in business systems we use, such as accounting software, for The Noble Foundry and businesses under common ownership with it. The tools are not sold or offered to the public.
Who may use them
Only people we have individually authorized. If we authorize you, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the tools, solely for the business and purpose we authorized you for, while your authorization lasts.
Your access credentials
Your access token is personal to you. Keep it confidential, don’t share it, and tell us right away if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for activity carried out with your token.
Acceptable use
When using the tools, you agree not to:
- use them for any business or purpose other than the one we authorized;
- try to access data, accounts or businesses you are not authorized for;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the tools, or let anyone else use them;
- overload, disrupt or try to get around the tools’ security; or
- use them for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
You are responsible for your books
The tools act on your instructions through an AI assistant, and AI can misunderstand instructions or make mistakes. You are responsible for the accuracy of every entry made in the books at your direction. Review changes the AI assistant makes, especially before relying on them for tax, financial reporting, payroll or payments. The tools record transactions; they do not move money or process payments.
Third-party services
The tools depend on services we don’t control, including the connected business system, the AI assistant (Anthropic’s Claude) and network providers. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or behavior.
Ending access
We may suspend or revoke your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the tools at any time. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (including responsibility for your books, no warranty, limitation of liability and governing law) continue to apply after access ends.
No warranty
Our website and tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise they will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The Noble Foundry will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website or tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the website or tools after a change means you accept the updated terms.
